This class is taught by:

Bea Whitton

Bea is incredibly passionate about helping others find a strong connection between the emotional mind and the physical body, while also cultivating a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Her passion for fitness and wellness began while attending college in rural Vermont. At this time her appreciation for the outdoors, healthy living and exercise blossomed into a true passion. After graduating, Bea moved to New York City and became a certified Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and Spinning teacher. Bea moved to Jackson Hole in early 2016, returning to an outdoor-focused, healthy environment where she feels her interests and passions are best suited. Bea's teaching is grounded in mindfulness; she also puts a great emphasis on alignment, breathing and pushing her students to expand and improve their physical limits. Expect to leave Bea's classes with a clear mind and a big smile!

Brian Flint

Brian’s relation with yoga started while earning an architectural degree in Boulder, Colorado. Drawn by the physicality, he quickly grew attached to yoga’s multifaceted contribution to overall health; restoring his body after manual work or outdoor play, and decelerating his mind when the off kilter mental hamster wheel started spitting off sparks.
Brian’s classes are a space for fellow yogis to be in a community and find introspective “you time”. He enjoys being a student of his guests, learning from their practices and engaging with hands on adjustments. Expect moments of challenge and strength building, balanced with calming stretches and mental relaxation. His classes are a mixture of active encouragement and times where silence is the best teacher. Come to smile, frown, engage or be alone on your mat, this class is time for yourself!

Suzy Ganer

Suzy feels honored to be able to hold space for her yoga students to connect to their minds, bodies, and spirits. Suzy aims to share her experiences and understandings of yoga in a supportive, light-hearted, and uplifting way in each of her classes. Studying from a variety of yoga teachers and lineages has made Suzy a self-proclaimed "yoga mutt", incorporating a variety of styles. Suzy looks to the Yoga Sutras, lunar phases, chakras, and everyday life experiences for inspiration for her classes. When you walk into Suzy's class, expect intelligent and inspiring sequencing, a bit of rock and roll, some sweaty fun, hands-on assists, and an overall great and compassionate vibe. When not "on the mat", Suzy works as a counselor at Teton Behavior Therapy and also can be found jamming out at concerts, laughing with her friends, and soaking up the beautiful nature of Jackson and the surrounding area.

Brit Hastings

Brit hails from New Hampshire but has found a home in Jackson Hole. She landed in Wyoming in June 2001 when friends invited her to their dude ranch and, ever the Dixie Chicks fan, she jumped at the chance to see "some wide open spaces". Halfway through her first ski season she bought Wyoming plates and has not looked back.
Brit first came to Pursue Movement Studio as a student while she was working on a guest ranch north of town. She was immediately struck by the community at Pursue and loved their movement philosophy. It wasn't long before she followed her passions and began her journey from student to teacher. In a word, her favorite part of Pursue is connect. "The community fostered through our instructors and students is so, so special," she says.
When Brit is not doing (or Teaching) yoga, she enjoys good coffee, books by Jojo Moyers, and being outside- trail running during the summers and skiing in the winter!
Compassionately taught breath to movement sequencing will awaken the guest's senses while helping them build strength and flexibility. Balanced with calming stretches to help the mind and body relax; this class will meet you at your current level, but always offer and encourage you to go deeper. Classes are diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy.
