One of the more rigorous flow practices offered, this vibrant series will incorporate a breath to movement sequence, a challenging core set to build internal fire, a sculpting series that includes light resistance training and a cool down to enhance mobility. Expect to sculpt, hone and tone every muscle in the body; this practice includes various elements of many different disciplines. Classes are diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy. Temperature at 98 degrees/50% humidity
In a warm room, this series begins by building internal fire with dynamic breath to movement flow. It will then slow down into a more traditional approach to poses, building steady depth to open the muscles of the body. Added warmth in the environment will increase the pliability of the muscles to safely allow exploration of both strength and length. Expect weight bearing poses such as down dog; classes are diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy.
This class is broken into four stations equaling 50 minutes to an hour of whole body training. The sequence encompasses metabolic endurance training and enhanced, “real-life” movement skills to increase metabolic rate and caloric expenditure. Spend half the workout training your metabolic endurance with cycle and row intervals. Spend the other half in exercises on the suspension bands and floor to improve strength and body movement.

OSA is an exclusive, semi-private adventure camp experience for up to 6 children per day aged 6-8 years old (age range negotiable based on abilities/sense of adventure).

Activities are based on weather and the children’s abilities and interests. The Crazy Tom experience depends on being ready for whatever the day may bring and keeping an open mind. Sometimes a trail hike will turn into a teepee building adventure. Sometimes a trip to the children’s museum will inspire a fishing trip. Sometimes a stop to watch moose will turn into an entire day identifying animal tracks and trails. The focus is on exploration, learning and adventure.

Planned themes and activities are all amenable based upon outcome and interest. Pick-ups and drop-offs will be at Pursue Movement Studio on Pearl Street. Each day will begin with a discussion of the potential activities for the day and exactly what we will need for those activities. Children take an active part in every aspect of their day. Once a plan is agreed upon we will begin our adventure. Small group sizes allow us to be open to what the day may bring.

Parents are kept involved in the adventure via photo updates on text. A quick summary of the day is given verbally to each parent at the end of the day.
